Rebecca performs in production of Spelling Bee
Since the show was performed at a small venue, we could see all the facial expressions of all the actors. Equally as enjoyable was the cast – perhaps the most talented group of young actors we’ve seen to date. Believe it or not, the whole show, including three-part harmony singing, was mastered in only 40 hours of rehearsal. Hey Jamie! Thanks for dropping in and checking it out. (For all that don’t know Jamie, Jamie was Rebecca’s Kindergarten teacher!) About the videos: I’m experimenting moving all our videos from a fee-based video hosting service to YouTube. (Everyone is laughing now because they’ve been using YouTube for years… It was the “suggested videos” links that I didn’t want on our blog. YouTube now gives you the option to turn that junk off… More than you wanted to know.) I think I’ve got the security set right now, so enjoy!
Looked like an exciting production. Sorry I wasn’t to see it in person. The videos gave me an idea about the play but I think I would have gotten more out of it live. I could not tell which lady was Rebecca but they did a great performance. Hopefully I’ll get to see a future play in person. Keep up the good work.
