Hermit Crabs
Today, I discovered I want a hermit crab. Not because it is cute and cuddly, but because it is small, portable, cheap, and doesn’t take much effort. You can still name it, and take it places in its little portable cage. It would be a fun summer activity for me. I would be responsible and treat it well, because if I don’t (I just did research about them), they will die! I would be a great mother to it. I am considering names. Any ideas? Posting ideas could be VERY fun. I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead with my “hermie” and me…

I really don’t know. That is a good question. One reason why I want one is because you can take it places in it’s little portable box. I would name it and decorate the outside of the box. It just sounds like fun to me.

Emily thinks you should name it Aqua if it’s a girl and Dr. Nub if it’s a boy. Sarah has suggested Shelly if it’s a girl and “The Rock” if it’s a boy! Let us know if you get one.
Thank you for your suggestions! Dr. Nubs made me think of the lost boy Nibs from Peter Pan. I think if I get a boy I want to name it after a lost boy such as: Nibs, Curly,Tootles, Slightly, or Pip!! Thank you for the suggestion that lead to that realization! Okay… It’s time to ask which name should it be? Nibs, Curly, Tootles, Slightly, or Pip?? Please reply!!
I think Tootles is the PERFECT name 4 ur hermit crab!!! I’m SOOO excited ‘cauze I’m going to camp @ Virginia Tech tom. (it’s a band camp) Go ahead: laugh and call me a band geek! I get it alot at school!
